The
Women's Health Care Clinic participates in research projects contributing
to the development of innovative tools, ideas, methods and treatments
as they relate to modern reproductive health technology.
In recent years, new birth control methods (pills, shots, patch,
ring, IUD), treatment for vaginal infection and menstrual cramps,
as well as new ways for detecting diabetes in pregnancy have all
been tested at the Women's Health Care Clinic.
Patient participation is always voluntary.
Subjects are thoroughly screened for eligibility and properly informed
about the nature of projects.
